Thank you for your interest in ordaining with IDOP. Unfortunately, this year, we will not be offering any programs. However, there are a number of opportunities to ordain in 2022 with 2 separate programs.
The first option is to ease into monkhood in a more relaxed setting at the Pa Pae Meditation Retreat through their "Become a Monk" program which will be running every month starting on the 10th of each month. You are welcome to stay for whatever length is suitable for you. For more details and to apply, please visit theBecome A Monk website
Your next option is a more structured 30 day program called Monk Life Thailand which will be run by iMonastery, which although close to the Pa Pae Meditation Retreat, is not the same program or site. It will consist of a different team of monks and lay people along with the support of IDOP's director. Feel free to visit each website to see which one will suit your needs. For more information about the program and to apply, please visit the MLT Website
